About Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering
The Department of Electronic Science aims at the synthesis of Science, Engineering and Technological aspects of Electronics. We all know that the on going bewildering transformation of quality of our lives is due to the recent phenomenal growth in Electronics and allied technologies such as Artificial Intellegence, VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, Digital Image Processing, Biomedical Enggineering, Communication Technology, Mechatronics etc. Many a super-smart electronic gizmo is hitting the market every day which, hitherto, used to appear in Science fiction only. Smaller and more complex electronic devices are replacing the bigger ones.
The conventional Silicon Electronics may go bust with time and soon be replaced by Nano-Electronics where different laws of Science coupled with the Engineering aspects might come in to play. All these developments are due to the never-ending combined efforts of engineers, researchers, innovators etc. from diverse disciplines. The scientific as well as technological intricacies behind the realization of these devices & systems are enormous and call for the services of ‘Sci-gineers’ (the next generation of Scientific Engineers!).
Vision
To become a pace setting center of excellence believing in three universal values namely Synergy, Trust & Passion, with zeal to serve the Nation in the global scenario.
Mission
To dedicate ourselves to the highest standard of technical education & research in core & emerging engineering disciplines and strive for overall personality development of students so as to nurture not only quintessential technocrats but also responsible citizens.
Our Quality Policy
"Striving for Excellence in the Quality Engineering Education"
