The Prof. Ram Meghe Institute of Technology & Research was established in 1983 and has all the necessary infrastructure as per the norms of AICTE New Delhi, SGB Amravati University. The first batch has obtained the degree of B.E. in 1987. Presently the College is offering Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Engineering, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master in Computer Application (MCA) degree courses of SGB Amravati University in the following branches.
Besides these the Department has strong research interests in diverse branches of Computer Science, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Information Technology and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and offers a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Programme aimed at producing quality researchers.
